The HR XCEL Story
Barbara
moved to New York City straight out of college, not sure exactly what
direction she wanted to take in her career. She says she found a
position and situation that allowed her to grow at an unprecedented
rate and set the stage for her current position, president and
co-founder of her own company.
Barbara's innate business savvy, hard work and drive helped her quickly make
a name for herself in her first HR position at the Coffee, Sugar &
Cocoa Exchange. She moved thru the ranks and was named Director of Human
Resources at an unprecedented early age.
Having
found her career path, Barbara broadened her HR experience over the
years by assuming roles of increasing responsibility in a variety of
industries.
Along
the way, Barbara took note of a critical void in many small to mid-size
companies. She recognized that there were many companies out there that
desperately needed HR expertise, but simply could not afford to hire
the internal resources to gain that expertise. She put together a
business plan to provide a solution for those companies and HR XCEL was
born.
Today, HR XCEL provides comprehensive Human Resource Outsourcing and Benefits Administration for a wide range of clients.
"HR XCEL's mission is to provide companies with
HR expertise from HR professionals,"says Sheridan. "By actively
recruiting HR professionals with years of extensive experience, HR XCEL
can provide its clients with unparalleled service and knowledge. Many
companies simply can’t afford to have that expertise on staff –
and HR XCEL gives them access to a high-level of knowledge and experience."
